absolute rubbish. aside from the clip "highlights" themselves being completely unimaginative and dull with lyrics that could be best described as Peter Griffin would say "shallow and pedantic" even for modern commercial pop music standards, will.i.am has been caught stealing tracks from multiple artists and using them regardless of permission on his own for profit albums much less sampling it for mixtape purposes.

I fully understand the borrowing of other artists' music creatively, but this is straight ridiculous. The track "Let Go" is complete plagiarism from Mat Zo and Arty's "Rebound" and he has the audacity to say they should be GRATEFUL that he did. If you don't believe me..

One star is too high for this garbage
To paraphrase Robert Ebert's (RIP) review of the movie Battlefield Earth, listening to will.i.am's album is "like taking a bus trip with someone who has needed a bath for a long time. It's not merely bad; it's unpleasant in a hostile way."

Trash
After stupidly purchasing this album, I must say that I've given it a few listens and have to come to the conclusion that it is completely and utter garbage. Every song sounds ripped off from someone way more talented. Don't waste your $5 as I did.

A Haunting - Season 5 - Aired 2012

Worth the wait
Although seasons 1 through 4 were excellent, Season 5 is just a little bit better. It's only a little different from the fist seasons. The music is almost 80% different, except here and there you can hear some of the same background music from the first seasons. It brings a connection of the gap between the first years and the fifth year of this show. Plus, there are some actors from the first seasons playing in the fifth.

It just seems a little more polished and energized more this time around. My only complaint, which is minor, is the special visual lighting effects. In the first seasons, the lighting was more shadows. In Season 5, it's more jerky camera and digital camera washes.

But you can't go wrong with this 10 story set. I just wish there was MORE!

The PERFECT buy!!!!
A Haunting season 5 brought back the thrilling scary excitement that I love. Based on eyewitness accounts this season revived the series to fully show that it is still loved by everyone. Long live A Haunting for future seasons!!!!!

Great Season
I have been waiting for the new season and I was not disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone who has purchased the other seasons.

Touched By an Angel: The Seventh Season

CBS/Paramount AND Amazon....You've done it again!!!!
I have just recently learned of the Season Seven DVD street date for this much-loved tv show, and I raced to place my pre-order. The standard of storytelling throughout Touched By An Angel's run has been nothing short of extraordinary. Episodes from this season, including God Bless the Child; Reasonable Doubt; Mi-Familia; Thief of Hearts; Netherlands, and the special 2 part Shallow Water have helped to cement its c l a s s i c status. I predict that by year's end the show's legion of fans will be proud owners of the complete nine seasons. I hope this will be the case, because I am looking forward to re-living the heartwrenchingly beautiful performance by Lesley Ann Warren in the Season Nine episode As It Is in Heaven. Thank you so so much CBS/Paramount AND Amazon!!!!!

Love & Memories
The night my Great-Grandmother passed away, my family doctor told me about this show. I was almost 7 years old, so I didn't really understand why my great grandma was being taken. Dr. Fogleman told me that she was an Angel now, and was at peace in Heaven. Since then, this show has been a jewel in my heart. Every time I watch it, I think of my "Mimmie''. She will forever be in my heart, and I can't wait to see her again one day. ... Buy this!!!!! These message will show

My Favorite Season!
This is my favorite season, I'm so glad it's finally coming out on DVD, only two seasons left, and then the series will be complete! My favorite episode of all time is Thief of Hearts!

The Central Park Five [Blu-ray]

4.5 stars... why did the innocent confess? Watch!
In late 2011, Sarah Burns published the "Central Park Five" book, and in late, 2012, the documentary based on this book, or perhaps more accurately stated, made in conjunction with this book, was released in the theatre (I saw it at the Landmark E Street Cinema in Washington DC about a month ago). This co-documentary is directed by the book's author as well as David McMahon and Ken Burns (yes, that Ken Burns).

"The Central Park Five" (120 min.) brings in excruciating (but riveting and enraging) details the background of the infamous "Central Park jogger" case of a woman who was savagely attacked, raped and left for dead while jogging in New York's Central Park in 1989. By coincidence that very same evening a bunch of black and latino 14 and 15 yr. old teenagers were hanging out in Central Park and pretty quickly the New York police rounded up a number of them, eventually causing 5 of them to admit to a crime they did not commit. This of course then goes to the very heart of...

Ken Burn's "The Central Park Five"
Ken Burns did a great job of reporting the facts surrounding this explosive case. The five teenagers accused and the victim were treated with care, and still yet the truth. This movie is worth seeing, as it is an example of rushing to judgement, an example racial tension, and an example of poor police. Thank God for Reyes finally stepping up to prove what an injustice, and still there has been no reconciliation in monetary compensation for the injustice. Again, I say that Ken Burns and others did an excellent job of reporting.

The Counter Turfseer Review
My initial reaction to reading the Turfseer review of this film was a belief, based on the errors and the distortion of facts in the review,that the reviewer saw a different film from the one I saw or was merely ignorant of the truth because he didn't understand the film.. A closer reading leads me to believe that something more serious, perhaps even sinister, is afoot here: a deliberate attempt to mislead those without direct unbiased knowledge of the events discussed in the film, and to advance the unsupported theories and suppositions of some of those directly involved in the original miscarriage of justice.

To wit: Turfseer writes ( I shall hereafter include Turfseer's accounts in quotes and my answers below them):

"the Central Park Five (CPF) were not only convicted of rape (in most cases) but also assaulting other people in the park that night. Burns and the CPF want you to believe that they merely observed two serious assaults in the park and acted...

The Details [Blu-ray]

love, love, love this movie
Thoroughly enjoyable dark comedy that keeps you on edge with plot twists and turns. Great cast and performances. Toby Maguire plays a genuinely nice guy who makes bad decisions that have consequences way beyond what you'd expect. It's a downward spiral that gains momentum with every scene. Laura Liney plays the crazy neighbor and delivers an amazing performance that had me cringing more and more with every scene she was in. All in all this was one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time. A beautiful departure form usual hit and (mostly) miss slap stick fare has become so popular. Great for the whole family. Our teenager liked it just as much as we did.

Dark comedy ... but sooo good!
I don't like reading long reviews, so I'll be brief:

1. If you like dark comedies, this is for you. Just buy it right now.
2. If you're still on the fence, I loved the ending.
3. You still don't know if you want to get this? Casting was superb. I wasn't so sure about Tobey who is just so darn nice, but by the end of the movie, you'll agree that Tobey was ideal.
4. Okay, this is not a terribly deep movie, but I enjoyed the full 101 minutes of it. Isn't that the definition of a 5-star movie?

Dark, dark, dark comedy
Tempted to rate this higher because of all the hate it's getting on here. It is a very dark comedy, really bordering on not being a comedy because it's so twisted and tragic. Basically the story of a man who keeps making the wrong decisions, digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole with his ethical misfires. Makes you wonder how the story would have developed with different choices made along the way. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for Seabiscuit or Spider-Man Tobey Maguire. I've never cared for "TMag" anyway, but Laura Linney is wonderfully insane, and Elizabeth Banks and Dennis Haysbert are excellent in small supporting roles. Worth a viewing even if you wait til DVD release.
